To all Android game lovers out there, here’s a great news that you shouldn’t miss because it’s all about the famous Angry Birds game!

Angry Birds Rio by Rovio has just received an update to the surprise of many because it came up earlier than expected. Users expected it to be available for another few weeks but I guess the wait came to an end just so early.

But before we go to what’s new, here is a recap of the features of Angry Birds Rio:

  • Comes with four (4) fantastic episodes
  • 105 exciting levels
  • All-new achievements
  • Special Fruit trophies that are hidden and yet to be discovered
  • Impressive Boss Fights

Now let’s go to what changed in this Angry Birds Rio version 1.2.0. I’m sure you all want to know so here are they:

  • A whole new episode named as Carnival Upheaval Blue!
  • Fifteen (15) all-new and exciting levels
  • Another type of bird
  • The Macaw named Blu can now be used alone
  • New hidden fruits (They say these new fruits are papayas)
  • More achievements to unlock
  • Pig balloons at sight! (Pop it out and you’ll receive 5,000 points each)

For as low as $0.99, the new update of Angry Birds Rio will be in your Android phone instantly. For the meantime, you can only download it from Amazon App Store but expect that would soon be available in the Android Market as it is already in the works.

Don’t stop expecting as plenty more episodic updates will come throughout this year.
