Some heads will be rolling at Motorola as a website redesign goof up yesterday allowed the folks over at Pocketnow.com to take a peep–and take screenshots!–at what may be five Android gadgets that Motorola has up its sleeve. Motorola Mobility was quick to take down the page and request Pocketnow to remove the screenshots from its site. Motorola’s quick move made tech critics suspect that the rumored gadgets do exist all along.
Speculations abounded regarding the possible Android origins of the devices, although no one can definitely say for certain. The “leak” page contained some details and images of the Motorola XOOM 2, Targa, Pearl, Slimline, Zaha, and TRACY XL.
The first item on the long scrollable page is an oddity–a watchphone, titled with “TRACY XL.” It looks a lot like Dick Tracy’s watch and is tagged with the catch line “Dick Tracy Never Saw This Coming”–clearly alluding to the crafty detective.

After Dick Tracy’s watch is a rear-view image of the Slimline, a very thin and uniquely designed device. The tagline below it says, “Thin is still in.”

Following the Slimline is the front-view image of the Zaha, which has similar looks to HTC Sensation 4G. Its tagline says, “The future. Now.” Just right below the Slimline is a partial view (presumably front upper or left corner) of the Targa, which has long been rumored to exist and might be released on the Verizon network. Basing on the right-side menu, what follows the Targa would have been the XOOM 2, the successor of the first Honeycomb tablet.

No one knows whether this was an honest-to-goodness slip-up by Motorola’s web designers. But, come to think of it, does Motorola actually employ idiotic web designers who perform testing on a live server? I doubt so, too.#
